Cobbledicks Ford
This is a surprising spot, since you get to it by travelling across flat plains and quickly decend into the valley. The carpark is still being built and there are no toilet facilities at present, but it is a great spot for a wander.
Unfortunately the reserve has been subject to damage by 4 wheel drives, despite signage.
To get there, travel west on Dohertys Rd to the T intersection, turn left onto Dukelow Rd and turn right about 500m on and follow the road down and park outside the gates at the bottom. It is also possible to access the reserve from Cobbledicks Rd but you will need to cross the ford. There are depth indicators and often the average car can cross but not always and water is often released from the Exford Weir.
