I have included this picture to show the difference between Atriplex semibacarta and the weed Galenia pubescens (Carpet Weed) In this instance the Galenia leaves are larger and darker, however Galenia varies greatly in appearance, depending on the conditions.
Atriplex semibaccata / Berry Saltbush Prostrate shrub (30cm x 2m), flowering most of the year but peaking Nov to Feb, follwoed by small red succulent fruit.
